Veneers and contact-lens veneers in Jataí
Composite resin or porcelain veneers to change the color, shape and size of the front teeth, with a natural look. Everything is planned with you before we begin.
At the initial evaluation, Dr. Brenda evaluates your mouth, you receive a written treatment quote and you decide calmly.

What it is
Veneers are thin shells, made of porcelain or composite resin, placed on the front of a tooth to change its color, shape and size. "Contact-lens veneers" is the popular name for very thin veneers.
With composite resin, the work is done directly in the mouth, at the practice. With porcelain, the piece is made in a laboratory and then bonded to the tooth. Which option is better depends on your tooth, your bite and the result you want, and Dr. Brenda explains the differences during the evaluation.
Who it is for
- People with darkened teeth that whitening does not resolve.
- People with small, worn or chipped teeth, or gaps between them.
- People who are not happy with the shape or apparent alignment of their front teeth.
- Please note: not everyone is a candidate. Gum health, the bite and any habit of grinding the teeth need to be evaluated first.
How it is done
- Evaluation with an exam, photos and a conversation about what bothers you.
- Planning: Dr. Brenda shows the plan and you take part in the decisions.
- Preparing the tooth, when indicated. In some cases only a small amount of tooth is reshaped, in others almost none.
- Making the veneer: in resin directly in the mouth, or in porcelain made in a laboratory.
- Bonding, bite adjustment and care instructions.

Questions
How will I know what my smile will look like?
Dr. Brenda shows the plan and talks with you about the possibilities before any procedure. You take part in every decision.
Do veneers damage the tooth?
In some cases the tooth needs a small amount of reshaping, in others almost none. It depends on the plan and is explained before you begin.
How long do they last?
Durability depends on the material, on how you care for them and on your bite. During the evaluation Dr. Brenda talks about your case without promising a timeframe.
Is it the same as teeth whitening?
No. Whitening changes the color of the tooth. A veneer covers the tooth and can change color, shape and size.
